Posting at SHINE

After almost 3 years of posting to this blog I've decided I am going to simplify my life and put all posts (for all my children!) on my "photography blog": SHINE!
I hope to see you there!

Fashion Challenge Friday!

This was Tia's choice of outfit yesterday. Yes, I know the boots are a big surprise! She cried when I put the "Pincess dwess" in the washing machine because she had spilled chocolate all over it. But then I found her another and she said "nother Pincess dwess!" She never noticed that she had these until yesterday! She is a "Pincess" alright :) Check out all the other fun entries at Salsa In China.

Oh boy - once Rylee discovered princess dresses she never wanted to get back to regular clothing :) As usual I LOVE the boots! Does it rain a lot there or does she just prefer those to any other footwear?

*Thanks for the encouragement my friend, I will email you hopefully later today :)

I love this pic! The boots are so cute!! :)

Re: your comment on my blog... I do spot metering, do you use that? It really helps you get the right lighting! For that photo of the rusty warehouse, I metered for the door and exposed the photo so that it was at about 0 on my slider. I knew that the doors and brick would be bright enough to see detail, but the outside would be overexposed (which was the effect I wanted).

Boots are Very Important in life. (Do you know the boots song by Laurie Berkner? That's a Tongginator fave.
