Posting at SHINE

After almost 3 years of posting to this blog I've decided I am going to simplify my life and put all posts (for all my children!) on my "photography blog": SHINE!
I hope to see you there!

Kookaburra, Anzac biscuits (and antibiotics :)

Tia and Elijah had the chance to feed a Kookaburra who has begun hanging out in our front garden looking for a meal.

The two Littles helped make Anzac biscuits today (these are THE Australian cookie in the same way as Chocolate Chips are THE American cookie :) we had a great time. Matt has been keeping count and he is up to about 13 or more consumed so I think we were successful at making them for our first time!
(note the Beijing Olympics mascot McDonalds cups we got while in China, that were used to flatten the biscuits . . . didn't realize we were using those cups! they are so cute, wish we could have collected all 5 of them!)

It has been a long week with rain every single day AND our little Princess finally on antibiotics for some kind of infection causing her to be miserable, have some green gunk going on - and keeping us all awake :( hopefully we will all be feeling better soon!

I never knew what a kukaburra was! I sang that little song about the growing up but never saw one. Sorry Tia is sick. I'll say a prayer for her.

I'm sorry I don't comment very often anymore...I'm sure you understand why! :) I do check your blog nearly every day and love seeing your preicous and beautiful little one blossoming!
